It's official...the next time I fall in love it will be with Adrien Brody. After spending the afternoon seeing the movie called The Brothers Bloom I am totally smitten. In order to survive their upbringing being shuttled from town to town and foster home to foster home the orphaned brothers develop conning scenarios. To make matters worse, they meet a master con artist who creates such a clever pair that it is impossible to keep track of what is real and what isn't real, even for them. In order to survive their upbringing being shuttled from town to town and foster home to foster home the orphaned brothers develop conning scenarios. To make matters worse, they meet a master con artist who creates such a clever pair that it is impossible to keep track of what is real and what isn't real, even for them. So much of you in this post! The story sounds great.
Sure you don't want to share? I adore him too - especially since "The Darjeeling Limited".
The stylized theater sets of some of the scenes doomed the movie outside of NYC and Hollywood where people aren't watching movies for story ideas and upcoming stars. Why didn't they make a finished movie?
Much like the art world where people are curious of the new, but they long to buy museum masterpieces. How many galleries just serve up ideas to steal? The Brothers Bloom could be fodder for a successful future movie with a similar story and cast, but goes the extra mile. I sense people are getting tired of R&D at the metroplex.. or at a gallery.
