Los Angeles Modern Auctions

Being included in a special preview of this auction was an exciting privilege.  Now, I cannot wait to attend the auction itself beginning at noon.  Click to this link for more information:   https://www.google.com/search?q=Los+Angeles+Modern+Auctions+&oq=Los+Angeles+Modern+Auctions+&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l2j69i60l2j0.11008j0&sourceid=chrome&espvd=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8

2013 Emmy Awards

More than 70 years ago I was taken to the Carthay Circle Theater in the Wilshire district of Los Angeles.  I wonder if it would be the site of the red carpet walk  for tomorrow night's Emmy Awards, had it not been demolished?  It was such a grand place and many premieres were there.  Paying homage to this grand old theater, there is a small version at Disneyland.  http://www.emmys.com/

It Has Been Many a Moon...

This is a selection of photographs I have taken of moons from my home during the past few years.  In all cases  I have used a Panasonic Lumix.  Lately it has been the DMC-ZS19 with a 20xHD.    Most all of the pictures in this blog are taken by me.  I no longer have a studio for painting and sculpture, and consider my photographs as art.
