Saturday is The Year of the Dragon Chinese New Year celebration parade here in Los Angeles. I have fond memories of going to our Chinatown since being a girl. 
Yes, I have a new favorite place to eat. It is Empress Pavilion---the same as the author, Lisa See, who documents her Chinese/LA family. But it hard to resist Yang Chow for delicious sizzlin' shrimp.
